C & G Boats, Inc. is a marine transportation company which specializes in services to support oil and gas operators and other customers with marine support transportation needs in the U. S Gulf of Mexico, both on the shelf and in deep water.

C & G Boats began operations in 1956 through a partnership between Albert Cheramie and Anthony Guilbeau. The two founders remained partners for over 50 years while riding the waves of a volatile petroleum industry. Though challenging at times, their considerable pride mandated success of C & G on the premise of providing efficient, reliable and safe marine assets under reasonable and fair terms.

In January 1993, the two founders joined forces with Magnus J. Arceneaux, III (“Joey”) who was brought in as a managing operating partner. Arceneaux added youth to the company combined with the vision and versatility needed for an ever-changing industry. His disciplined management encouraged superior loyalty from employees and earned invaluable relationships with customers, contributing to the growth and success of the company.

In 1993, C & G’s fleet consisted of two small utility vessels. The company was then substantially dependent upon strategic relationships with vetted third party vessel operators to provide marine transportation for its customers. Through persistence and hard work, C & G Boats has strategically grown to its current fleet of 36 owned/operated vessels. The company’s fleet of 36 vessels consists of DP2 fast crew/supply vessels, DP1 offshore supply vessels, DP1 mini supply vessels and utility vessels. Today, C & G owns and operates one of the youngest and most diversified fleets of vessels in the industry.

The operational, technical and safety procedures of C & G are second to none. C & G offers a comprehensive suite of support services which include drilling support, production support, crew transportation, maintenance support, offshore accommodations and EEP standby services throughout the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. 

 
C & G Boats has continued to acquire new generation designed vessels and to design and construct state of the art equipment, including the two 205’ DP2 Fast Crew Supply Vessels which were recently added to the fleet. C & G provides one of the youngest fleets of vessels operating in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The loyalty and dedication of C & G to the marine industry and their customers over the past 50 years cannot be surpassed.
